Campus East Formal

Every Campus has an end of year formal where everyone gets dressed up and has a nice meal together. We all got ready; looking nice and fancy before we headed over to the Frat. It was like prom all over again! The party bus took us there and we had fun taking silly pictures. When we got to the Frat they had a professional photographer so we got to take even more silly, cheesy pictures!

 It was nice to see everyone that I’d met at Campus East this past semester all in the same place. We had tables which I sat with my American friends but everywhere you turned was a familiar face. There was lots of walking around socialising before we sat down for our fancy three course meal. Everyone at our table was hungry so we just sat waiting for the next course to arrive. To amuse ourselves we somehow started playing with spoons; balancing them on our noses and then getting really into it and catching them in our mouths. Needless to say, we were pretty amused until our main course arrived.

We got up and danced for a while, but then came quickly back to our seats so as to not miss dessert – éclairs and chocolate cake! Also, because so many people were up and dancing, we were able to grab a few extra desserts! They were so rich though that it was hard to eat more than one to yourself! We debated whether or not we should go out to the Wollongong bars and clubs after but we were all pretty tired. The next day was going to be an early start too; Jessie and I were going to Bali!
